Elven Gellantara
Background
Elven Gellantara is a cleric of Pelor in the small town of Ashham. Elven runs the local temple to Pelor there, along with two other assistants. He is known for being rather gentle and kind, especially towards those in need, but at the same time he can be a bit of a pushover.

Story
Elven was born into a family of poor commoners who happened to be farmers. Determined to make something better of himself, he spent many years of his young life studying religion, especially that of Pelor. Eventually he was taken into the small temple in his town and raised as a cleric. After becoming a cleric, Elven set out on adventure to attempt to spread goodness throughout the land.
In his travels, he met a female barbarian, Quidiana. They both traveled together, fighting off evils... But after a near-death experience, Elven realized that he could not possibly do all the good that he wished for. It got into his head that the best course of action would be to have a son and raise that son to be a warrior in the name of good. He returned to his hometown, Ashham and proposed to Quidiana, who accepted. They settled down on a small farm.
Problems arose when Quidiana would bear no sons. A bit of a chivalrous man, Elven did not wish to throw one of his daughters into combat (which is ironic, considering his wife is a barbarian). But after the seventh child came about female, Quidiana proposed that they just raise that child as a son. It's the next best thing.
Problems came up in this plan, too. The seventh child, Searil, experienced frailty and hallucinations. Despite that, Elven and Quidiana continued to bring her up as a warrior. After Searil received the call, Elven was a bit shocked, but proud at the same time. After all, Heironeous is a god of justice and honor--this would make her want to spread goodness over the land! Still, he misses his youngest daughter and fears that she could meet the fate which he almost did...
Quidiana Gellantara
Background
Quidiana is currently a farmer in the small town of Ashham, although formerly she was a barbarian of the Alazria tribe. She can be rather brutish and blunt, but deep down she has a good heart. She inherently has a negative view of men.

Story
Quidiana was born into the Kartord tribe, a patriarchal group located in the mountains. When Quidiana was about 6 or so, the tribe went through a revolution. All of the women in the tribe, sometime during the night, left the tribe and formed their own. It is possible that this is due to the horrible treatment the women received, or just the rebellious, independant nature of the women. Either way, this certainly influenced Quidiana, giving her the inherent nature to hate men.
The new tribe called themselves the Alazria tribe. When Quidiana was about 30, she was sent out to find a male with which to procreate with to keep the tribe going. After moving through the world for quite some time, she found Elven. Somehow taking pity on him, and viewing him as... different for a man, Quidiana didn't drag him back to her tribe but instead traveled with him.
After Elven nearly died and resolved to return to his hometown, Quidiana followed him. After being proposed to, Quidiana accepted and settled down, becoming a farmer.
In a fit of irony, when Elven and Quidiana tried to have children, Quidiana would bear no sons. This would have been great if she had stayed with the tribe, but it was horrible for Elven, who wanted to raise a warrior son. On the seventh child they gave up and both agreed to raise the child as a man. Quidiana worked well at this, and trained Searil up until she received the call. Quidiana was a bit frustrated that Searil received the call from such a lawful god, but at the very least that god would probably teach her how to fight.
Iriestina Gellantara
The oldest of the Gellantara children, Iriestina takes it upon herself to look after her younger sisters, even though they're all quite capabale of handling themselves. She helps her mother farm, although she sometimes works at the local bar as a barmaid. She would like to make Searil more of an effeminate person, but as much as she stood in the way of her parents, she just couldn't do it.

The second oldest. Loraella looks out more for herself more than anyone else. This lends her to be a very selfish, unforgiving person. She also happens to be very clever, which makes it all the worse that she happens to be selfish. She helps out at the farm a little, although she prefers to work at the bar instead.

The third oldest. Magstine looks up to her oldest sister, Loraella, prefering her more self-lived lifestyle to Iriestina's "sacrificial" one. Magstine still has a conscience, though, and so she isn't as cruel as Loraella. She likes to enjoy herself. She works primarily at the farm.

The fourth oldest, Darmorel takes after her father the most. Kind, gentle, and helpful to others, she, of course, helps her father in the temple of Pelor. Because of this, she often gets taken advantage of by her two oldest sisters, but Iriestina tries to look after her.
