Background

Lawrence is the captain of the equestrian division in the Temple of Heironeous and the teacher of mounted combat for trainee paladins. Often commited solely to his work, people tend to get the impression that he never has any fun. This is where he leverages his diplomatic work however, taking advantage of people's desire to influence him to relax and enjoy himself.

Story

Sir Lawrence started out just like every other trainee paladin in the Temple. He took a special interest in the equestrian arts however and spent much of his free time working with the instructors to get better at it. Rather than leave the temple when he graduated, he decided to stay and help out in the training. Ultimately the equestrian trainers went to focus more exclusively on different fields and Sir Lawrence became the sole equestrian trainer. He often goes out on diplomatic missions however, leaving Dame Helga, who sends him on most of these trips, to 'train' the students. Usually no student ever complains after being done training a week or two with Helga. Because of this Lawrence is rather loved by his students. In the event that any of them give him trouble, he knows he can just direct them to Helga for a little 'dicipline'.
