Backstory

Hardrick never knew his parents and grew up on the streets of Radeon as a pickpocket. This lifestyle earned him both streetsmarts and a bad temper. The cruelty he witnessed as a child disgusted him. He soon joined a company of mercenaries who sold their services to a temple from the North embarking on a crusade. In this time he saw much of war, brigandry and human suffering, and he left the mercenary company to offer his services to the Temple. He proved his capability as both a warrior, leader, and talker, and shortly into his service it was discovered that he did, indeed, carry a divine favor. He was anointed in a ceremony in Juno and has since served the Temple with loyalty and dedication, though his ill temper and unconventional means of handling things often earn the chagrin of the temple's other members.
