The Draconian Empire

The Draconian Empire was the massive, powerful, and just empire that covered nearly the entire continent, encompassing all of Drakenheim, Juno, and Alizarin and the western half of Lasaedar within its reaches. It was ruled via a combination of kingship and senate, a strange combination which many found disagreeable. Eventually this disagreement boiled over between the sub-kingdoms of Juno and Alizarin, and the Draconian Empire collapsed, splitting into the four parts that it is today.

As far as government went, Juno was more in the center of the political and geographical power, so they retained the a kingship regulated by the guidance of the Temple of Heironeous. Alizarin, being separated from their capital, had relied on the senate to have political pull, so they adopted a more chaotic, free-form method of government. Drakenheim and Lasaedar kept the old policies of kingship and make the only countires of dictatorial monarchy within the immediate region.
