Lirilen

Lirilen

Lirilen is a small moon elf village in the north-east Dakri Woods, in Lasaedar. The picture is a version I'm toying with in the Sims 2, and should be used only as a vague vague reference.

I need a map, I'm making so much of this shit up, based on the Juno page. D: D: D:

Geography

Layout

Lirilen is located deep in the woods, and is so small and off the normal travelling course that adventurers rarely stumble across it. The central point of the village is a small temple devoted to Sehanine Moonbow; the several small houses of Lirilen's residents surround it.

Landscape

Lirilen is built into and around the deepest part of the forest, among dense trees and undergrowth. There is a small clearing where the village is, but cannot be easily seen from more than ten feet away.

The nearest town is a significantly larger and predominately human village called Radreal, where the elves of Lirilen will occasionally go to buy supplies. Due to the regular but rare visits from the elves, the humans in Radreal have many rumours of elves in the forest, though none of them have ever actually seen Lirilen.

Climate

The entire forest around Lirilen is more often rainy than not, with cold and wet winters and warmer rainy summers. The forest canopy provides fairly good shelter, however, and in the village itself rain becomes more of a soft sound and a dampness of the forest.

History

Lirilen is one of many small moon elf villages in the Dakri Woods, likely formed ages ago by moon elves migrating from the north. Due to being so cut off from civilization it has never been part of a war, in fact the moon elves in the woods don't consider themselves as part of Lasaedar so much as residents of their individual villages, or as part of some larger scale moon elf population.

Culture

Demographics

Lirilen has under 100 elves living in the village, with absolutely no other races present. Half-elves born to the village are extremely rare, and the offending families will usually move away to a larger, more mixed-race area to avoid humiliation.
