Crow's Nest

Formerly a small inn located in the lower-middle class district of Juno, The Crow's Nest has been converted into a refuge for the party.

Layout

The first floor of the Crow's Nest consists of a large dining space, a "living" space, a kitchen as well as a simple bathroom and two bedrooms. The dining space was formerly intended to seat a large number of people at a bar, therefore it fits the party of seven (eight including Dresvan) comfortably. Behind the bar in the dining area is a small "serving area," where formerly barkeeps passed drinks out to their patrons. Now this space is used primarily as a walkway to the kitchen, which was intended to have a staff of two or three people.

Joined to the dining space is the "living" space, consisting of a couch or two and a fireplace, and close to it is a small, simple bathroom (without a shower stall). Past that are two bedrooms, one of which has been assigned to Dresvan and the other belongining to Raiden.

The second floor starts off as almost a balcony over the first floor, but it leads to the five other bedrooms as well as a much larger bathroom, complete with shower and bath stalls. Alterations have been made to the former inn as well, namely by Mydo which include a small bridge leading out from Aeleria's room to a treehouse outside. Of the bedrooms, four stretch out along the "hall" of the second floor. The Master Bedroom (which Searil assumed ownership of) sits at the end of the hallway. The other four bedrooms belong to (in order of left to right): Arinae, Olio, Aeleria and Gnaat.

Leading out of Aleria's second-story window is a bridge leading to the treehouse of Mydo Bandydo, which, as of yet, has not been completed.

Beneath the first floor is a basement, containing a small storage space for the adventurers.

Landscape

Not much. The Crow's Nest rests on a not-so busy street of the lower-middle class part of town. In the backyard, however, are some trees, one of which contains Mydo's treehouse.

Surroundings

A few residential buildings surround the Crow's Nest, but aside from that, nothing of that much importance.

History

Originally started as a tavern, the Crow's Nest began under the ownership of a small family. Their attempt to run their own tavern failed, however, seeing as the tavern's location was amidst a residential district where people don't exactly need to spend the night. As the family lost more money than they made, they sold the tavern to Isaac Hammerhand. A few months later, he sold the tavern to Searil, who happened to be involved with loan sharks at the time. After the first month, a series of unfortunate events happened in which Isaac was murdered by the loan sharks in an attempt to persuade Searil and the rest of the party. After another series of both unfortunate and complicated events, the loan sharks were arrested and the house officially fell into the hands of Searil and the party, where it remains today.
