Alizarin Republic

The republic of Alizarin is a large kingdom to the south of Juno. It has a reputation for being more free-fire and dangerous than its northern cousin, not to mention it has had a shaky peace with them ever since the splintering of the Old Empire.

Geography

Alizarin is mostly a large valley with mountain chains bordering the east and west sides of it. This center of the valley is base to several kinds of biome, mostly plains and woodlands. An enormous swamp known as the High-Moor covers a large portion of the northern area of it, making travel between Alizarin and Juno dangerous.

Climate

Alizarin's valley is mostly sunny throughout the year. Winter and early spring, however, tend towards wetness and cold. Snow is not uncommon in the more inland areas, and is a certain occurance in the mountain regions.
