Story

Druid's Grove

Aeleria doesn't know about much that happened before she was accepted into the druid's grove. She doesn't actually beleive that her parents are as listed, however it's what her friends joked, and she decided that Nymi really was the closest thing she had to a father. While in the druid's grove, she spent most of her time with the animals of the forest, and later became a caretaker of the animal friends (mostly the babies and mothers). She got along very well with the druids in her grove. As she grew up they taught her the ways of the druids. Her best humaniod friend Elkis was an elf who always dreamed of being a great adventurer. He took her with him on mini adventures in and around the forest and taught her how to survive in different climates, and how to use armor and some weapons. During this time, she became very proficient with healing and learned to always carry well more than enough spell components for such spells. Eventually, Elkis informed Aeleria that he was going to go on a grand adventure and she hasn't seen him since then. Every so often Aeleria would be sent to Juno to run errands or to take care of the most menial of affairs.

Arrival in Juno

Aeleria was made curious about the world from Elkis, and wanted to know more of the world. (She doesn't expect to see Elkis on her travels (sadly, he's probably dead), but she'd be happy if she did). This wasn't Aeleria's first experience in Juno due, of course, to her grove's proximity to the city. Also she and Elkis had played in the city, even though they never had a prolonged stay in the city. Her wanderlust/curiousity grew to a point in which she actually did leave (sort of temporarily) the druid's to become an anventurer, however, she does visit periodically when the party is in Juno.

Role in Party

Aeleria is primarily the party's healer, however, now that Alistine is being locked away and tortured by her master, she has also become the primary magic user (thank the gods that the party really isn't that reliant on attack magic). To reserve magic when the party is not currently on the path to death, she will usually use a long ranged attack, however, when it becomes too likely that she will hit her party members she will use her quarterstaff (unfortunately, this is usually not very effective (or in the case of some undead, completely ineffective)). Overall, she is pretty hopeless in a battle by herself if the person she's fighting can fight back.

Aeleria usually simply blends in nicely with the background, however, when there is conflict in the party she will try and redirect the conversations in a more agreeable way. If she feels the need for an action to be carried out, she will talk to the people she feels will be the most likely agree and act, and rely on them mostly to talk to the group as a whole. For the most part Aeleria is simply looking out for the well being of her new family.

Outside of combat, Aeleria is often still healing the party. She can be found (although, not really) playing with her animal companion, listening in on conversations, or working.

Nature, particularly animals, is the real love of Aeleria's. She values the lives of the worlds creatures far more than that of the civilized (or not neccessarily so civilized) world. However, at this point she really cares about her new family and veiws them as very humaniod animal friends.

Psychology

On the surface Aeleria is very reserved and happy. On the inside parts, Aeleria is reserved and enjoying her time wandering around with her very interesting new family. She feels completely at home traveling, however, when in the cities she is somewhat uncomfortable and is unlikely to be the member of the party to speak. When she feels something needs to be said, she will either say it, or say it to another party member so that they might bring it up. Aeleria is quite friendly though, so once she feels more comfortable with a place and its people she will usually start talking to them and try to learn about them, the establishment, and the surrounding area.

Aeleria is not the proud owner of a love life and has really not thought about it much.

Aeleria kind of likes roaches.....she thinks they're cute ;P

Her will has been tried sorely since the start of their adventures due to the loss of two animal companions the many near losses of her party.

Alignment

Aeleria is neutral good. Aeleria cares for the living, in particular, natural creatures and her family (which now includes the party). However, death is natural and so sometimes is killing (as in the case with hunting). If she feels it is within her power to do so, she probably will aid the injured (animals and humaniods), except if they prove to be too inconsiderate for their own life (and (in many cases) hers) she will let them die and return to the planet from which they came.

She knows enough about society in order to not offend the people or creatures that within it (animal or humanoid). She is (usually silently) very curious about the world(s) outside the grove. Although she does have an interest in it she does not necessarily take any of it to heart. She uses what she's learned with Searil.

She could care less about what human society considers right or wrong, but it would actually take effort.

Relationships - before Searil died

Aeleria likes all the weirdos she's met for the most part, but people scare her sometimes.

The family

    • Nymeria - tear, he's in a better place now....one where he can't get squished by an ogre.

    • Mydo - He's pretty fun, a little rash though (especially with the alcohol). For some reason, I kind of like that thing he wears on his head. He took Lizzy's death so hard, poor Mydo, poor Lizzy. I liked Lizzy *tear*.

    • Gnaat - I'm not so sure there is always thought before action with Gnaat, but she's good at heart and very amusing to watch. She also carries things for me sometimes, since her strength greatly exceeds my own. (Well, more of because she offered and my stuff is too heavy for me to easily carry).

    • Searil - She seems angry. And although I'm sure she hates the party, I know she loves them too. She is very reliable in her will to help the party, however, I can't say that I agree that jumping at death is overly helpful (I think I'll just ignore that some part of her is saying that she would rather die). In combat she's really good at cleaving things in half, until several seconds later she gets squished, and needs imediate stablization/healing in the thick the battle.

    • Raiden - I've taken a peek at that book he's always reading, it seems pretty interesting. We don't talk much, but it's a comfort to have him around (particularly when he's conviniently placed right inbetween you and someone who would kill you if they could reach beyond him.) His abnormally spiky armor serves him well.

    • Olio - She plays quite nicely and has a very vibrant personality. She seems to get herself in a lot of trouble though, it's kind of miraculous how she does it.

    • Raevyn - I'm glad she likes her room, but I wish she'd come out more. She goes off on her own a lot and doesn't really get along with the party that well, but she's cute and has some interesting skills that are really unique. She is, however, the hardest person in the party to keep alive.

    • Arinae - She's usually a good person to talk to when the party's bickering.

    • Alistin - Poor girl, it's been awhile since we've last seen her. (I hope master isn't torturing her too much).

    • Party in general - My new pack is a bunch of idiots! *SIIIIIIIGH*

Others

    • The World - Oh man, I didn't realize how @#$@ed up this place really is. Geez people are stupid! agh. I pity the people that live in Alizarin. Why are people so obsessed with ....things that really don't affect your survival?!?

Relationships - after rejoining the party

The family

    • Elkis - He's probably gotten himself killed by now, but I hope he's still alive.

    • Dolenestel - I'm sorry our time together was so short...and that meeting me ended in your demise. *tear*

    • Animals of Alizarin - They seem to be doing a lot better.

    • Mydo - Oh my...he definately isn't getting better about the drinking. He still is a bundle of fun though. BTW, don't die Mydo, you're tough, but mortal. Oh well, at least you're all surrounded by healers now.

    • Gnaat - She is a sweet girl, she doesn't seem as active now though.

    • Searil - I can't really say I did not expect this, but it's still sad to see another leave us. Maybe I should have stayed with them...*tear*. Although, I'm sure she'll be happier with Heronious. Well, the church might decide to bring her back, but in the meantime...

    • Raiden - He seems to have come to terms with the party, which is delightful to see.

    • Olio - She also seems to have become more reserved, it seems she had been having to take care of the party more, thank you Olio, and I'm sorry.
